Family night at the zoo
Mr. Gorilla and $1.00 ices
This would have been the penguins but we got tired of waiting in line
The carousel… Dad finally convinced me to ride on animal that did not go up and down instead of the peacock bench I normally choose. Fun Friday.

Avery the Innocent
While Braeden spreads toys and Easter grass Avery says he had no part in it. He was sleeping the whole time.

Mom claims she can never get anything done….
this is why. She was putting away groceries and this is what was going on on the other side of the wall.
Sweet sweet Braeden asked to use the utensils. His play sounded innocent enough in his little kitchen. For the record these pictures do not do his mess justice. It was a dandy. Easter grass was strewn from one end to the other. It was pretty funny. He would take a spatula and pick up grass and just toss it where ever or mix up the grass with his veggies in a pan and stick in his oven. I told him to play as long as he liked because when he was finished it was all going in the garbage. His fun lasted about 1 hour.

Hanging out under the Crepe Myrtle
Miraculously enough we have a tiny bit of shade from the tree we planted when B was born. Avery took an hour nap under the tree while I rode my bike.

Braeden’s Bumbo
I think perhaps our baby boy has grown out of his bumbo but it sure didn’t stop him from trying it out.
Here is Braeden when he actually fit. In these picture he is about the same age as Avery. Here is Avery’s Bumbo debut.
I find myself constantly trying to compare the two boys but its really hard. There are small glimpses when Avery looks like Braeden but most of the time he has his own little look. Avery has been a great baby. He is mostly sleeping through the night and pretty easy to accommodate Most of the time.

Snug as a bug in a rug
It is hard to believe Avery is 2 months old. We are already looking back at newborn pictures(like this one 8 days old) and thinking wow…Where is our baby? These swaddlers were awesome. Too bad he loved them for about 1-2 weeks.
Braeden loves to give himself a thrill ride in the travel baby swing.
Moms first day at home alone with the two boys. Braeden playing in the sink which turned in to a very large mess for mom to clean up while Avery is laying in background staring at a balloon. I had them both occupied for all of about 15 minutes and then we were back at square one again.
