Lazy Sunday...

Just lazin around on a cold blustery (well, not as cold and blustery as it would have been had we lived further north like most the grandparents), we decided to take some pictures of a slowly waking Braeden before he got cranky cause he realized he was awake and hungry. enjoy!

HE'S HERE!!

Braeden Alexander Haller arrived to spread his joy and happiness on November 4, 2007, at 12:22 PM. He weighed 6lbs 6oz, and was 20.5 inches in length. He's got big blue-grey eyes and dark brown wispy hair...and is precious as all can be :)

Fun at Frankies...

Sunday, we went to a friend's birthday party at Frankie's Fun Park. We had cake, Brent rode the go-carts with the other guys, and then we played putt-putt.

Halloween/Pumpkin Carving Fun!

Rachel wanted to carve pumpkins and make some cool designs from those little carving books you see at the grocery store, so we got a couple of nice pumpkins and set to our task for the day.And the final results after all the guttin' and carvin'. First is Brent's with a little ghoul holding a trick-or-treating bag and second is Rachel's with a ghost in a window holding a candelabra:

Almost 3 weeks to go!

Nature day...

Mom and dad out taking in the great southern weather while on a walk at the Harbison State Forrest.Rachel kept doin some power walkin strut that I thought was funny.

Anticipation...

Just a small update. There's really not a lot going on. Rachel and I are going to "baby class" every Tuesday for the month of October. This isn't really "lamaze" class, its more just things that the hospital will help with and what types of things to expect during our time there and what to do for the few weeks following the arrival of our little guy. There's some relaxation techniques taught, but nothing to the extent of what I think would be in a lamaze specific class. In a few weeks we get to tour the actual delivery suites, the nursery, and whatever else there is for us to see...that, of course, is the part we're most interested in. :)

So that's about it really. Only about 30 days left till the due date...could be any time in the near future for us to be official new parents...weeeeee :)

New fun for Braeden...

The soon-to-be-parents went on a little shopping adventure today. We received a large coupon book in the mail the other day that had a lot of good deals on things that we wanted, so we splurged! We bought a bunch of stuff for the nursery (that we'll have pictures of once its all out of the dryer and where it's supposed to be) and one good fun thing for Braeden...a little swing! :) We're hoping he likes it...we're both sure we would if we had an adult size one for us :)
