Santa Claus

Overall a great Christmas Day.  The morning started off with pillow pets from Santa and ended up with a nice dinner. Mom spent all day cooking while we all played with our new loot!

                            It’s a white Day after Christmas!

            Snow in South Carolina is always quite adventure!Grandma and Grandpa whipped up a snowman in no time.  It must be their experience from the great north.  Never mind that he had a hot chili pepper for a nose instead of carrot.  I won’t judge since I didn’t have to build him:) The snow also gave us a chance to bring out our new wagon.  The kids are excited that we finally have a way to walk to the park again.  Now Braeden is knocked out and we are just enjoying some family time.

Christmas Eve …and A Small Glance at Everyday

On Christmas Eve all the grandparents arrived but as a tradition we open one present each with just us.  Here is Braeden eagerly holding tight to his first present of the Christmas season and you can’t deny Avery’s enthusiasm.  This kid has more facial expressions than I have ever seen.

It seems as if I am busier than ever these days. Avery is crawling, standing, and wanting to walk.  Braeden has more energy than ever which leaves me with a constant trail of toys to pick up, bellies to fill, laundry to fold, etc…..  The only reason I have time to update today would be that The Haller grandparents are entertaining Braeden and Avery is asleep.

Here is Avery 9months old.  He thinks he can just stand up anywhere.  When he tries he ends up in this muscle man pose which having no shirt on clearly demonstrates

Busy, Busy, Busy

 

Saturday we took the kids to pick out our pumpkins.  Yippee can’t wait to put up pictures of our jack-o-lanterns.

On Ronan’s birthday we all headed to chik-fil-a to celebrate with a little playtime and some ice cream cones.

On afternoons when Braeden doesn’t really want to nap we usually do a little craft time which means more work for Mom but how can you turn the little fella down.  I promise we are not leaving Avery out of all the pictures.  I think I was just wearing him  all week.

The Adventures of the Haller Boys

 

Here are a bunch of pictures and a handful of words to go along with them.  I am not feeling particularly wordy or profound today so it is what it is.  I feel lucky to have had the time to post all of these.  We have a had a great couple of weeks and are looking forward to Halloween and Braeden’s 3rd Birthday.

Braeden loves making muffins.  Today we had to make a special trip to the store for milk and ingredients for muffins. Here is Braeden enjoying the batter and Mom sneaking in a photo to prove her existence! 

Avery’s first big boy bath time.  He was  splashing like crazy and even laying in the water on his belly and playing.  He had a blast.  They both did!

Hello everybody

Zonked after a busy day!  I have only posted a million pics of Braeden sleeping over the last 3 years but he is just so darn cute.  Lucky for the 5 readers we have I am not all that crazy about pics of sleeping Avery.  He is always hiding his face anyway.

Braeden reorganized all the toys.  Lucky for me!

Can you handle the cutest Buzz ever?  Boo at the Zoo ! We put Avery in a little skeleton sleeper we had left over from Braeden and called it good.

So Boo at the Zoo was hit.  Great night with the family. This picture is a little whacked it looks like Avery’s head is on fire.  Brent was playing with all the camera buttons.
