Look Ma, I'm Standin!

Earlier this afternoon, Rachel went into Braeden's room to get him to go to sleep for his nap and this is what she found! And in the 2nd to last picture, Rachel actually got a picture of his two little bottom toofers (teeth, for the layman ;-)) - click on the picture to get the larger image and you can really see the teeth.

Our tree

Over the weekend we planted the tree we got with Mike and Mindy Novatny's wedding gift. It's a Natchez Crape Myrtle. Currently it's about 6 1/2 ft tall. Over the years it will grow to be about 30 ft tall! It blooms in white flowers during the summertime and has a burnt orange bark that should look really good in the wintertime.

Reminiscing

Look at this squishy and delicious little face. Our boy is growing so fast. Braeden is enjoying one of those luxurious baby naps and I am reminiscing over his first pictures. You would think I would be doing something not centered around the baby during my break:)

My first trip to the beach. I did not really notice much. This weekend was just too exhausting.

Here are just a few classic Braeden shots

Yummy! Socks!

Look I can feed myself

I like to give mom things to do when she looks bored. I have to keep that woman on her toes you know.

I love Zweibach Toast

This is the clean version. I spared you the pictures of the baby and the toast half way through:)

Six Month Photo Montage

Am I a ham or what? How can mom resist?

I Love Tags!

"I am enamoured by tags of any kind," says Braeden. Here is a picture of me eating one. I found the gerber baby quite fascinating on this particular day.

The Cake

Perhaps not our most civilized moment.

Everyone says if there is a wedding there must be cake..atleast that is what everyone told us when we said we were not sure if we needed one. The cake was beautiful...too bad Brent ate two helpings of bread pudding before we cut the cake.

Getting Ready by Amanda Churchill

Our or should I say MY biggest concern was pulling it all together and making it to the chapel on time. Thanks to Brent we made it with time to spare:)
