Brent's 1/2 Marathon

Here is Brent right after his finished his 1/2 marathon.  Unfortunatly, we were a minute or two late watching him cross the finish line but we were all very proud.  great job Dad.

Its party time.

Well technically its two months later but Braeden's two.  We had a great party with lots of family.  Braeden was a little overwhelmed but still had a good time. Mom made me my very own Lightning McQeen cake and I ate it up like a champ.  Happy Birthday to Braeden.

Really Really Behind

Obviously I am really behind on my blogging. I guess its a good thing I am not trying to capture the attention of thousands of readers. It seems as though updating this thing is always on the edge of my todo-list but I always put it off. So heres what's going on in the Haller houshould.

-Braeden turned two...pictures coming momentarily unless I get busy:)
-Mom & Dad ran the 4 mile Turkey Trot in Ohio over Thanksgiving
-Braeden's naps get shorter and shorter everyday
-Brent ran a marathon in under 4 hours:) Way to go Dad!
-Braeden lost his pacifier at the marathon so we are on day six and going strong.
-Mom is pretty pregnant and having hard time holding Braeden down for diaper changes and picking things up off of the floor.

Pictures to Come!

Braeden playing his favorite indoor sport, balloon ball.

Wow Dad those are big ant hills! Can I step on them like you do?

Cheese! Wow mom this is a nice set of blocks in this magazine.
How many 2 year olds read a magazine while snacking on Cheetos?

Here is our llittle artist with an oh so serious approach to his art.
The Naked golfer.  Braeden got out of the house while I was taking out
the trash and refused to put on clothes even though it was a little chilly out.

Video Update!

Dad doing his job, once again!

Here's Braeden riding dad like a horsey. This is new fun that Braeden likes to do when he finds dad laying on the floor. Good times!

And here's the video mentioned in an earlier post with Braeden playing with shoes from the closet.

And this is the most recent addition. The other night while dad went out for his run, Braeden had a ton of energy. Dad came home to the living room pretty much completely torn apart with stuffed animals everywhere and pillows on the floor. This explains the pillows!

Silly Afternoon With Mom

Just loving some good ole Moma while Dad is out running:)
Heres a cute smile for you grand Ma.

Funny expression

Mom showed me how to doodle and erase on my table. I thought it was great but constantly ran out of room. Maybe I need a big doodle erase pad.

Today was a big I love all of my stuffed animals day so we had a dinner party. Who were my guest? Dog, Frog, Monkey, and Elephant. We shared all the finest of fake fruit & veggies and juice. Mom put all this stuff out here for me so she could cook dinner and I had so much fun I managed to make a mess of the whole house while she cooked . Dad thought it was pretty funny.

Here is Braeden just hanging out in the living room scribbling notes in his Scooby-Doo note pad. This very hip note pad is covered in fur. He walks around and scribbles in it with a blue crayon. Only the blue one. His 1st happy meal toy he actually plays with. What a milestone.

Braeden, Ronan, & Cal

Here's Braeden and 2 of his best pals just chillin by the pool. Next summer we might have to get this crew the 8 min abs video and a spray on tan:)

Mini-Golf

Here is our little Mini-golfer.
Here is a picture of the full Haller swing. Brent says its his and Grand-pas swing. I think his follow through is better than mom's.
Braeden stayed on task and actually played the first eight holes and then he was more interested in where he could throw the ball or what he could roll it off of.

Overall, a nice Sunday afternoon. we followed golf up with a little ice cream a Brusters. MMMM:)

Cheesy pics

CHEEEEEEEEEEEESE!!!!

Hehe...ok, I'll just smile this time.

Geez dad, you took forever on this run...you let everyone else beat you! Can I get out now??

Big kid shoes

I love wearing everyones shoes. I practice putting everyone elses on since I can't put my own on. Here I am sporting some of Mom's fancy shoes. there is a video and well Mom says thats
Dad's job since she came up with all the words to narrate the pictures.

Play-Doh

Play-Doh extravaganza in the kitchen floor.

Mom is a little more laid back than some other Mom's we know and she says Play-Doh is fine. Of course, that means its not quite that big of deal to me. It was exciting for about 10 minutes. I took each color out of its container, squeezed it, and then put it back in its container and started chasing balls again. When is Mom going to learn that I am not so into to games that involve that sitting still stuff.

Big boy bed

Braeden is getting so big. A couple of weeks ago we converted Braeden's bed to a day bed and he loved it from the very first moment. Look at this cheesy grin. This photo was taken before Dad even got all the bolts in place.
We did go through a week of getting up at 6am but that seems to have worked itself out.
I love being able to get in my bed and have access to my pacifier.
The truth is, we have a hard time keeping him out of his room.

Back on the Home Front

Dad plays softball on Wednesday nights. Braeden gets to go if the game is at 630 or 730 and he always has a blast. Here is Dad..a.k.a ..the blur..running to first base after a hit. Dad is about the only person that ever gets on base for our team but we watch just the same.

This day was particularly muddy. I wanted to spend my time chasing two blondes from the concession stand but mom insisted we come watch Dad. She really knows how to ruin a good time.

Visiting the last of the greats on dad's side

Here I am visiting with Great grand Ma Haller. I even gave up hugs and kisses before I left.

Finally updated

Alright everyone I am finally updating the blog. It has been a busy month or two. We took a week long trip to visit the grandparents in Ohio and boy did we have fun. Mostly, we only got pictures at the fair so here are some of the highlights.

My first strawberry milkshake which I loved. Now, mommy treats me to a milkshake every coupkle weeks if I am having a good week.

MMMM..thats yummy. Grand Ma and Grand Pa nkept me all sugared up all week. They let me have my first candy bar, first milkshake, all the ice cream I could dream of, and Oreo cookies. I thought it was heaven.
Here I am dancing around from all the sweets.

I loved the marching bands. I stood with grand Pa for a long time watching and listening to some cool tunes.

The animals were exciting but personally I was mostly in to the animals that were smaller than me and I did NOT like the pig barn. Mommy, said I didn't want to go in because is stinks.

Overall our trip home was spectacular. I did great on the 12 hour car drive and slept and ate good all week. I also started using more words when we were visiting. I now say go, gotta go, see you, open, on, off, juice, drink,. There are more words but these are the ones I say all the time:)

A Boy and His Balloon

Summer Update

Well, it's been another long stretch between updating the blog. We'll blame dad for continuously switching our computer around. I bought a new HP computer at the beginning of July, it was a lemon, so I had to send it back and get a replacement. So we've been in computer limbo for about a month. Apologies to our loyal followers (grandparents and our soon-to-be SC neighbors the Turners!) So here's what our summer has looked like: Braeden loves to help do whatever Dad is doing. Here we're washing the truck! Doing my best "Bam-Bam" pose. If it involves a stick and a ball, Braeden loves it. Golf, baseball, hockey (yes yes, it's a puck, not a ball, so I guess it's more anything that involves whacking something with a stick).Braeden in his new cool-guy sunglasses.
