The Adventures of the Haller Boys

Here are a bunch of pictures and a handful of words to go along with them.  I am not feeling particularly wordy or profound today so it is what it is.  I feel lucky to have had the time to post all of these.  We have a had a great couple of weeks and are looking forward to Halloween and Braeden’s 3rd Birthday.

                                           Muffins!

Braeden loves making muffins.  Today we had to make a special trip to the store for milk and ingredients for muffins. Here is Braeden enjoying the batter and Mom sneaking in a photo to prove her existence!

Avery’s first big boy bath time.  He was  splashing like crazy and even laying in the water on his belly and playing.  He had a blast.  They both did!

Dad and Avery.  Avery does not seem to want anything to do with the stroller.  We have spoiled him with the carrier.

Hello everybody

IMG_2223

Zonked after a busy day!  I have only posted a million pics of Braeden sleeping over the last 3 years but he is just so darn cute.  Lucky for the 5 readers we have I am not all that crazy about pics of sleeping Avery.  He is always hiding his face anyway.

Braeden reorganized all the toys.  Lucky for me!

Avery is full of funny faces.  This is just one of the few.

So Boo at the Zoo was hit.  Great night with the family. This picture is a little whacked it looks like Avery’s head is on fire.  Brent was playing with all the camera buttons.

Day at the Zoo

IMG_2174

Look at this face.  Is this the face of a little boy who is enjoying his picnic at the zoo?  I had this big idea that I would take him to the wooded picnic area and then walk him down to the river to play in the water and then finish up with a  walk around the zoo. We ended up having a nice day but we had to scratch my plans and just head straight for the zoo.  Braeden kept saying Mom, I thought my zoo was lost:(

Here are the boys showing some of that brotherly love!  This was one of those afternoons that never ended.  Whenever I plan a fun activity that is supposed to wipe the kids out it never works.  Then I am the one that needs the nap.

Dad and Braeden Naptime

IMG_2145

Everyone knows Brent is the champion napper of the family.  Luckily, for me on Saturdays he puts that talent to use.  I think naptime with dad is one of Braeden’s favorite times of the week.  He says, Daddy come lay with me..right here.

Good thing I Clean Up Nicely

IMG_2152

More peas please.  Avery does not really care for baby food that much but he has had a few hungry days lately.  From looks of these pics you would think I was trying to paint his face instead of feed him.  He sees the spoon coming from a distance…he eyes it down and then he goes in for the attack.  it is hard to just get it in his mouth.

Its Always Playtime at the Haller House

IMG_2160

Tickle…Tickle…Tickle.  Avery is amazed with delight anytime Braeden can find two minutes to play with him.  Avery spends every moment watching big brother and Braeden spends most of his time trying to ignore him.

IMG_2161

Hello there!

IMG_2165

MMMM…cars are delicious.  Who needs teething rings?

IMG_2144

Decorate my bike…Decorate my bike.  this is all Mom heard for two days straight. Caillou (one of Braedens favorite PBS shows) decorated his bike so we had to as well.  So while Dad was playing golf last weekend.  Mom and Braeden and of course Avery decorated the bike.  Here Braeden is admiring his custom made license plate.  A minute later he is eating the candy sprinkles off of it that we glued on.  Good thing Elmer’s is not toxic. We also added fire truck and sports stickers and a bell.  This weekend I slipped some dinosaur silly bands to put on the handle bars.  The great thing is B has been so excited about his decorated bike that he has been riding it all the time.  Who knew?

IMG_2140

Avery is almost crawling.  He just mastered sitting up even if he is still a little wobbly.  Now he is into army crawling but any day now this kids is going to be full fledge mobile.  It is so fun watching these boys grow and learn.IMG_2125

Braeden, Mitchell, and Landon

IMG_2166 Eating lunch becomes exciting when you have two pals over to join you!

IMG_2167

We have been pretty busy lately which has left little time for blogging. Here are Mitchell and Landon whom I play with all the time.  It seems our neighborhood is over run by little boys everywhere.  Luckily, these two live right next door so there is almost always someone to play with.  Mom and Miss Erin do a child care trade out so we at least get to play twice a week. 4 boys under one roof for 3 hours leaves us all exhausted and ready for naptime.
